What Is a Tracking Number & Where Can I Find It?
A tracking number (also called a tracking ID) is a unique alphanumeric code assigned to your shipment when it is booked or dispatched. It allows you—and us—to pinpoint your package's exact location at any point in its journey.

Where to find it:
Confirmation Email: Check the booking confirmation email sent to you at the time of dispatch — your tracking number is usually prominently displayed.
Shipping Receipt / Waybill: If your parcel was dropped off at one of our branches or partner courier points, the tracking ID will be printed on your receipt.
Sender Notification: If someone sent you a package via CommandCargo, ask the sender to share the tracking number from their booking confirmation.
Your Account Dashboard: Log in to your CommandCargo account and navigate to "My Shipments" — all active and past tracking IDs are listed there.
When will my tracking information appear?
Tracking information typically becomes visible within 2–6 hours of your shipment being collected or dropped off at a CommandCargo facility. Here is what to expect at each stage:

Domestic pick-up / drop-off: Tracking activates within 2–4 hours.
International air shipments: Status updates appear after the cargo has been scanned at the origin airport, usually within 4–8 hours of departure.
Ocean freight: Initial tracking confirmation appears within 24 hours of vessel loading. Updates occur at each port of call.
Customs clearance stage: Tracking may show a temporary hold during customs inspection — this is normal and does not indicate a problem.

Why is my tracking number / ID not working?
There are several reasons a tracking ID may return an error or "not found" message:

Too soon after booking: Your shipment may not have been scanned into our system yet. Please wait up to 24 hours and try again.
Typographical error: Tracking IDs are case-sensitive. Double-check for commonly confused characters (e.g. O vs 0, l vs 1) and ensure there are no extra spaces.
Wrong carrier portal: If you are tracking a shipment handled by one of our partner carriers (DHL, FedEx, UPS, etc.), the tracking number may need to be entered on the respective carrier's website.
Shipment cancelled or returned: If a shipment was cancelled before dispatch, its tracking ID becomes inactive.
System delay: Rare but possible during peak periods. Our system updates every 2–4 hours; please try again later.

If I do not have my tracking number, is it still possible to track my shipment?
Yes — in most cases we can still locate your shipment without the tracking number. Here's how:

Log in to your account: All shipments booked through your CommandCargo account are stored under "My Shipments," even if you've misplaced the tracking ID.
Reference your booking confirmation email: Search your inbox for emails from CommandCargo — the tracking number is included in every dispatch confirmation.
Contact our support team: Provide us with your full name, email address, shipment date, origin & destination, and approximate weight or description of the goods. Our team can look up your shipment using these details.
Use your invoice or commercial document number: If you have a commercial invoice or waybill reference number, this can sometimes be used to pull up shipment records.

How do I file a claim for lost or damaged cargo?
We're sorry to hear your shipment arrived damaged or did not arrive at all. Here's the process:

1. Report within 7 days of the expected delivery date (for loss) or within 48 hours of receipt (for damage).
2. Email support@commandcargo.com with your tracking ID, photos of the damage (if applicable), the original invoice/packing list, and a brief description.
3. Our claims team will acknowledge your request within 1 business day and guide you through the resolution process.

Claims are typically resolved within 5–14 business days depending on the complexity and the carrier involved.
